What if you made the map wrap around?

What i mean in the title is that, maybe they should make it so that when you reach the end of the map, it leads to the opposite end of the world. That way, they don't have to worry about the weird blank spot around the map. I have no clue if this is already in the game, but if it is then disregard me. But im just suggesting this in case. The only issue i see with this idea is the aurora. you can see that giant eyesore everywhere on the map. how they'll make it work like that i have no clue.
