Game crashes when loading base, also mouse cursor bug in windowed mode

I had to delete a save file with 30 hours on it because, while testing out my new PRAWN suit, the game froze and then crashed when I tried to return to my base from where I had saved about 100m away.
On my last attempt, I was running the game in a window and went to move that window when my cursor was dragged down to the lower right corner of my screen. When I switched another app to be the active window, this problem stopped, but I had to forse-quit the game because the window was stuck out of view on my screen.
