My Subnautica is sometimes really laggy. If I do a disk deframent or whatever is called. Will my subnautica run faster and smoother? I never did disk defragment

Keep in mind Subnautica is currently a hella buggy game and has serious performance issues, even on high-spec machines.

Didn't Steam have their own defrag tool for their file system? Which got removed, because they now have some kind of system that makes sure the Steam files don't get fragmented? Well at least for games integrated into Steam using the *.gfc acrhives, Subnautica is not one of those right?

Defragging your Hard Drive would help with a lot of things on your computer.
(especially if it's never been done before)

It's wise to do a defrag every once in awhile on your system.

If you have a decent Antivirus program, they usually have a defrag option in them that will make it easier.
