Reaper Leviathan - Safe Shallows

I have been camping out in my lifepod for a few days cuz a stupid Leviathan managed to get into the safe shallows. He isn't leaving, he destroyed my PRAWN AND my Seamoth, and he keeps tossing around my Lifepod.
He couldn't have followed me there because I was at one of the islands and was coming back home to my lifepod. I just suddenly saw him honing in on Alfred (my prawn) and destroying it. I HAD ION CRYSTALS IN THERE, PAL!
I had worked so hard for both machines, and worked so hard for the items in the inventory space of Alfred. Is there a way to despawn creatures? Or is that not a valid option?

Next time, lead it away. When it bites you you lose 50% health, die if stay.
Get in Moth and run away, find a crevasse repair Moth.
Or keep running stop frequently look to see if it's pursuing, change direction.
Keep running till it loses you. Repair Moth during attack or ASAP thereafter.
If you have the EMP use it then run away.
Don't know if there is a 'Despawn'.
