Floating island

Is anyone having the issue where the floating island isn't there? I restarted my save since the update and went for the floating island to scan the multipurpose room and other stuff and it's not there. I went at least 3000 meters behind the aura and still couldn't find it.

XB1S; In every game (3 so far) it was there. about 1km ssw. look for the cloud.

I had trouble finding it as well but it should be there. For a note it's around 1500m from the life pod. It also doesn't help the render distance doesn't work very far either. I the textures didn't start popping until about 50 meters.

It was there for me and the way i find it is normally by spotting the bases first as for some reason they dont seem to despawn so i just go toward them until the island spawns in.

Listen for the waves, you can hear the waves hitting the Island when you're close.
