Yeah, it seemed sorta wierd to me. I think it's partly the guy's fault for not seeing that this would happen. I mean, Star Wars fanfilms are one thing, but if you are going to do a storyline that seems likely to be made into a movie, check first.

well, in the past george lucas and lucasfilm have been **SUPPORTIVE** of fanfilm and other works of star wars fiction. Fox however, has not. Both have the right to fox whatever they want. In fact, there was a Star Wars CTF for quake 1 that was foxed. So you shold always get permission if you are going to do something.
