Resources and their locations?

I find that rare resources are a bit too easy to find. Even if you go to the edge of a certain biome at low depths you can find so many of the resources that are found in the biome.
Once I went down about 100 meters into the grand reef. After about 2 or 3 trips I had full inventories of Uranium Crystals Aluminium Oxide Crystals and Quartz's.
I think this makes the game too easy tbh. Like there is no need to go deep into the biomes at all, other then to find Precursor bases or Wrecks. Other than this you don't really need to explore the biomes. Resources other than Titanium, Quartz's, Silver and Lithium are the only resources where you need hundreds of because they are formidable in a lot of different types of construction. Titanium and quartz's are needed for bases and different modes of transport, lithium is very much needed for building the cyclops and upgrades, whereas silver is used in most electritcal items. Most other resources which are supposedly more rare are not really needed in large amounts as they are only used in a few different construction pieces. Yet they are so easy to find that often 1 or 2 trips even in shallow waters can prude to be successful.
Therefore I was going to make a suggestion. Maybe because most biomes are pretty large you should be forced to explore them further, into more dangerous territories. I think this would also make people want to explore more to find things like the precurser bases and even the lost river for example in the Blood Kelp Zone.
An example of this would be in the grand reef most of the resources can be found maybe between a depth of like 400-600 meters forcing the player to have to build pressure compensators and the alike to be able to find them. Furthermore within the Grand Reef which is quite a large biome which also leeds onto the Deep Grand Reef maybe people should also have to not only travel to a certain depth but also have to travel a certain distance within the said biome in order to find a more plentiful surply of said rare resources.
Another suggestion with the fact that titanium and quartz i particular, which are needed in the construction of almost any build should be plentiful in all biomes, but only at certain depths. The early Biomes could be kept the same, but if for example in the Grand Reef or Blood Kelp Zones, between like 100-300 meters maybe in these biomes the main resource could be titanium and quartz or you know maybe the types of breakable rock. Whereas the more rare materials like Uranium Crystals can only be found in small amounts until you start to explore deeper and further into the biomes.
For now the sole purpose of building pressure compensators is to be able to eventually complete the storyline, however, for general exploration for resources there is very little need for the compensator. Let alone you may be risking your seamoths/Prawn's lives, yet all you really have done is gone deep found a few dangerous creatures that pose a great threat and have explored a few of the deeper bases. But like other than that there is no real need to go back to these locations other than to progress the storyline even further, as most of the resources can be found in shallower and safer areas.
Thoughts?

That said, loot balance is kinda wonky at the moment, so expect it to change.
