is it just me or does it look like the floater island has split in two in the past. The fissue line could have erroded to make the break less noticeable.

second thing

the size ref modle doesnt have a face anymore, now if what my tinfoil hat is saying, they could re-use the model as to show other survivors from the auora. I would have this idea, the whole point of the game was to be the "only" survivor.

Objects placed into a game are generally moved around, rotated, and scaled up or down. Textures stretch. It's a pretty common practice to make a few models seem like a lot more by varying the profiles, rotating and scaling copies is a lot cheaper memory-wise than having hundreds of different trees or whatever.

The FOV is also kinda weird in this game. Feels like I have to touch things with my nose in order to be close enough to pick them up. Makes sizing things strange.
