This strategy works on:
Reapers (kinda)
River prowlers
Sea dragons (again, kinda)

... Basically any hostile creature that has an elongated body and has a mouth on one end.*


1. get out knife
2. Get in front of creature. (not too close)
3. when creature charges you, swim forward, then down and to the left. (not right - you hold your knife in your right hand, so you're not in range if you swim right)
4. Stay underneath and slash by button mashing rapidly.
5. Keep away from the head.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until creature is dead/ leaves. Do not pursue the creature.
