Do people want light and/or fauna in the inactive lava zones?

I found that when I was going to the lava zone from the crash site, I was saddened to see that my whole trip was taken in complete darkness and with nothing around, not even a lava boomerang. I have put some options below to see what people would want/would not want to maybe make the inactive lava biome more worth visiting instead of being a one way path people rush through to get to the lava zone.
