edited January 2017 in Subnautica on Consoles
I purchased Subnautica on PC over a year ago, I believe, and just found out today that there was an Xbox One version. I did the 1 hour free trial and discovered that it would run far better than on my old PC, but I wanted to see if there was some way to connect via Steam rather than purchasing the game a second time.

I've only had this Xbox for a month now, and I'm very new to the mechanics and whatnot. I have no idea how to go about this or what kind of wording I should be using, so I'm sorry for being a total noob. If anyone knows how to connect to Steam via Xbox, or in some way or another get the full game without having to buy it again, please let me know!

Xbox Preview program and Live (Microsoft) and Steam (Valve) are two different companies, so if you bought a game on Steam, you cannot play it on Xbox and vice verse.

Would kinda be the same as saying, can I play Mario on my Playstation :)

Hehe no worries, I actually had the same question a while back with my Company of Heroes DVD and how come I cannot install it from Steam (oh wait, that's right... Valve didn't receive moneys for that  )
