Nobody can hear me when I talk, yet the Microphone Level bar clearly moves to my voice.

This is driving me crazy.

My mic works fine in every other game.

My push-to-talk binding is fine too. My name shows up but nobody ever responds.

Any ideas?

@Foxy, wrong Natural Selection (move please? :D)

Hmm, that seems rather weird... You're sure there aren't any other programs claiming your microphone? Also is it XLR, USB or mic-in and can you for example record audio in Audacity or other recording programs?

Are you sure you've got the correct device selected in the sound menu? Could be it's picked up some other device that isn't making any noise.

Dont leave it "default" device where it says input / output, actually set them to where your line level signal is coming from and what mic is capturing input.

    Example
My input device is "yeti microphone" (name of my microphone)
and output device is "music streamer III" (because i use an external digital-to-analog converter to process sound that is coming from my motherboard not the motherboard its self)
