So it's stated in the story that the Degasi crew built a Cyclops at one point, which was presumably how they got down to the Grand Reef to build their base.
My question is, what happened to that Cyclops?
Will there be a Cyclops wreck in the Lost River or Lava Zone for us to explore for some end-game tech fragments, or maybe another precursor key?
What happened to Bart? He was the only survivor of the Leviathan attack on the Grand Reef base, and made it back up to the Floater Island. Did he just stay up there until he went insane and died, or got eaten by Cave Crawlers? Maybe he swam around a bit and discovered the Mountain Island and had a Planet of the Apes "DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!" moment at the sight of the Precursor Gun, before getting ripped to shreds (would make a neat audio log)
We know Marge likely died tangling with the Leviathan after it woke up, but it would be neat to find a Reaper Leviathan skull in the Lost River with a "Legendary" unbreakable knife jabbed into it that we could pick up as a reference to her glorious entrance to Valhalla.
Paul is the only one we don't really know about. His oxygen was low after the Leviathan attack, and he went off following some pretty "lights". Maybe some type of not yet seen Angler fish type creature led him to his doom? Or some manner of benevolent jellyfish led him to sanctuary? Or the giant Ghost Tree is actually a powerful psionic entity and sent out a mental projection to lead him to it's cove where it assimilated him into its consciousness?
Either way, there's a lot of open ends to their story to the point where it just feels unfinished, rather than mysterious.
Of course, this is just my opinion. Maybe a bunch of other stuff happened and the PDA logs are the only bits of it that we can find.

Not according to the Degasi Voice Log #1 - Habitation Location Data Download.
PAUL: This island is safe. There are no predators. We can grow food. Why would we abandon it?
MARGUERIT: Your kid says we can't grow enough. Not without more growbeds. Speak up, kid.
BART: It's... it's true. The natural growth rates are too slow to support three of us indefinitely. Especially if the weather gets worse.
MARGUERIT: All I'm sayin' is, ocean's got us surrounded. No use hiding.
PAUL: I've made my decision. You two want to forfeit your commissions just to take a swim?
MARGUERIT: Believe me, I'm thinkin' on it.
The Degasi was not the Aurora with a crew of hundreds or thousands, but a crew of 6. The Degasi is comparable to the size of the Sunbeam which I am thinking is about 3 to 5 times the size of the Cyclops. The Data Bank entry for the Cyclops states that it can handle a crew of 6. So after the Degasi crew built their habitat and growbeds from the recycled material of the Degasi, there might have been enough material for a sub halfway between the size of the Seamoth and Cyclops to get to the Jellyshroom Caves, but not enough for a Cyclops. Therefore, if the Degasi crew built a Cyclops, then it was not on Floater Island.
