Mouse Sensitivity Changes Randomly

Hello,
Whenever I play NS2, my mouse sensitivity changes randomly. It goes from extremely high to extremely low sensitivity and this happens when I'm in the middle of firefights and general gameplay.
I am using an all-purpose logitech gaming mouse (with buttons to switch mouse sensitivity). Somehow, when i switch the sensitivity on m,y mouse, it changes but will soon revert to random levels shortly afterwards.
Is there any fixes?
