Custom Ns Sounds?

Ok im not sure where to put this. What do you think about having custom NS sounds? I dunno, I just thought it would be a cool idea. One example would be custom sounds for the Heavy armor. Woulden't it be neat to be able to make them sound like noisy powered armor?(not offically though, this is just a client side thing) Problem is, they probably just use the regular footstep sounds, so you coulden't really make them sound unique right?

before 1.03 everytime I respawned, instead of the "shreooooongh" sound u get it had a little part out of Alive

Yeah I agree! The ambience sounds are already getting a bit repetitive.

Course, someone could make the armor sound like "LIGHT ARMOR APPROACHING", same for heavy armor, or vice versa for alien sounds ("Im a skulk come kill me!")

You can have custom sounds if you wish, but alot of the servers force model consistency, so i would keep backups of all your sounds before hand.

I like customization but I don't mind and support of the NS team enforces defaults because some people will take all the advantages they can get even though its not neccesarily the most fair thing(such as Uranium stated).
