what if you could have your base float like your lifepod does but then bigger and better!
i think it would be fun to have a base floating on the water but to keep the base in place you have to put a cable to the seafloor to the base so it doesnt float away (makes sense right). and make it that if the base is above the water and gets damaged some of the floating devices break and you have to make new ones, but if it gets to have it sinks and the hull breaks, and instead of only being able to reinforce the hul you can reinforce the floating devices to. and make the solar panels more effective above the water, but i think that is already in the game.
