I can see my body when swimming downwards.

If I swim up to the surface but have my gaze looking straight down, I can see the top part of my body and the sea bed toward my feet. That's fine. But If I am swimming straight down and also look down as far as my gaze will allow me, I again see the top part of my body as if I was looking down from above toward the sea floor.

I am not sure I am explaining that right. But if I am swimming directly downwards then my head/face would be the lower most part of my body. If I looked down at my body I should really see the surface beyond my body, but I actually see down my body and toward the sea floor as if looking down whilst swimming up. Sorry if that sounds confusing.

It just doesn't look right.

Recreate: Swim directly down to the sea bed. As you do this have your gaze look down your body. I see what I would see if I was orientated with my head toward the surface when sinking. I should see, effectively, the surface.
