Leaving the planet with a spaceship you build

I would really really like it if the developers chose to leave the plant with a ship. that you can drive it when your in it. not that it is just a cinematic. That would be really disapointing

The planet-leaving aspect is most likely going to be an end to the game, and programming an after-game bit where you fly a spaceship would be a lot of work- as in the too-much-work-to-do-before-release kind (I think). Sorry to disappoint you

Why would you want to pilot it? You go up, and then the credits roll.

What would be neat is if we had to go through all the launch systems on a console like the Vehicle Mod Station, so its like a final puzzle.
