We get a lot of story regarding the Degasi and Aurora survivors, life on the ship before it crashed ect. But what we don't get a lot of is story about our AI; the only other voice we ever hear in the game (unless you count AI variations, in which case, don't worry about them since all they say is "Welcome aboard, captain". Were talking AI as in the one that is with you from beginning to end). The AI is widely overlooked as a story telling device, or a force feeder of context. I think we should improve her story by adding AI LOGS every time she sees something that jogs a memory for her. I thought of a story for the AI, but I don't know if it's game worthy.

She was created a long time ago as a guide for the people of the Degasi. When the Degasi crashed she was forgotten. This memory could be triggered by entering the Grand Reef. Then she is retrieved by Alterra from the other side of space in hopes of getting information about Degasi, which they fail to do since her memories were lost. They decide to use the AI anyway on the mission, but first reprogram her on the way to 4546B. This could be triggered by entering the Aurora. One scientist tries to sabotage the mission by reprogramming the AI and making it lead them to failure. This could be triggered by another room in the Aurora, perhaps the lab. The AI is recaptured and the scientist thrown into space. Then the aurora incident occurs. She could also remember things she experienced witht he Degasi crew as you swim around:
*When you find the Jellyshroom Base* : "I remember this place. Avoid the mushrooms and you'll live."
SIDENOTE: As you're moving around the Jellyshroom caves she recounts the events of one of the PDAs, sometimes repeating the words we're sick.... we're sick... we're sick...
*When you find the Floating Island* : "See those mountains? There are bases at the tops of them. Maybe you'll find supplies there... how did I know that..."
SIDENOTE: When you find the farm (where I expect Bart died) she repeats the name.
*When you find the Gun* : "These energy signatures... I felt them moments before the Aurora was struck... I also felt them somewhere else... twenty years ago..."
*When you find the Grand Reef base* : "Please, don't go any deeper. What if others come?" A reference to Paul's words.
*When you find a Sea Dragon* : "Head back. Head back now, you can't fight them. She could but... They're bigger than I remember..."
SIDENOTE: She keeps on saying that Marguiret will help.
That's about everything I guess.
