Suggestion on alternate role for the Rock Puncher

Since the Rock Puncher is on the chopping block due to the planned removal of terraforming, I had an idea of another role they could play in the game.

In my personal experience at least, it usually takes almost deliberate action by the player to breach the hull of a seabase. Whether it be piloting a vehicle or camera drone directly into the base at decent speed, or deploying a floater while inside (which, as a side note, is probably a bug), it's usually something that the player can control.

So, to make flooding a little harder to avoid, I suggest this.

Have Rock Punchers target and attack seabases.

Basically, unless you build something that repels them, they will attack seabases and cause hull breaches. If adding a new module is too much, perhaps just make them sensitive to light, so that floodlights or spotlights will keep them at bay.

Personally, I'd hate to see the Rock Puncher go to waste, and I'd like to think the devs would agree with me on that.

    Yes, I totally agree!

We could give it a "Neo" skin and put it with Precursors as scouts, to purge life and habitats!

    Just a thought...

As a side note, since having them spawn everywhere seems like a bit much, I would personally suggest having them in the southwest corner of the map. Considering that's really the only large portion of the map besides the starting area that's free of Reaper Leviathans, as well as any particularly dangerous fauna in general, it seems like as good a place as any. The only really threatening creatures in that area are the Crabsquids in the Deep Grand Reef, which, given that it's a cave system, doesn't really make them a threat unless you go down there. While I'm not complaining about the fact that there's an area of the map with fewer threatening creatures than even Safe Shallows, what with wandering Stalkers and the occasional Sand Shark, it seems like there should at least be something else down there.
