weirdest bug ever

so today i was swimming towards the floater islands when al of the sudden it looked like i was being teleported into the seamoth after which i couldn't swim anymore for some reason and now my only way of getting around is walking on the seafloor

this makes the game unplayable and i would love to get a possible fix really soon

This is a known bug which is only fixable by using a hatch. this will reset your character to whichever environment its suited and effectively fix the glitch ..... until the next time it happens again lol Also, if you die (like, out of hunger/thirst) it will send you back to your last base/cyclops/lifepod and fix the bug (of course, can't rely on that if you're playing a Hardcore game sadly)

The only other way i know to fix it is by using the console. Type in the command WARPME and it will send you back to the last base/cyclops/Lifepod you entered, fixing the bug in the process. Again, this is only temporary until the next time it happens. Personally i've been experiencing this much less often in the past few months than i used to before. Devs seems to be doing a good job to fix whatever issues that cause this bug to happen. Hopefully they will be able to completely fix this before V1.0

Never seen that happen while just swimming along. Usually I'm walking in a seabase or cyclops when I suddenly drop through the floor. At any rate, @Rainstorm 's suggestions should fix the problem.

i had to sapwn a seamoth using the console and entering my base worked

after that a new bug started since my character didn't want to walk normally anymore he was walking on walls and stuff
