My laptop used to run subnautica really well but in the latest experimental build the performance has gone down alot often the game will just stop responding.
Experimental is 'experimental' for a reason. The Devs have stated multiple times that it will be a sea of bugs, such as the late crashings when spawning vehicles. This will be fixed soon, I'm sure and framerate and general performance will keep being improved as the game moves towards 1.O
