I have an idea for a biome. The Strange. The Strange, isn't on any map, because its in another dimension. To travel to the strange, you need to build a dimensional gate, it is made out of a rare drop from warpers, 'inter-dimensional matter' and with 10 matter and 5 titanium ingots, you can place it with the habitat builder and enter the strange. The strange is a biome with a purple hue to the water, populated with warpers and other strange creatures like

This biome would be home to rare ores and wouldn't impact the story too much, but it could be a biome created by the precursors for the warpers and their other experiments as the precursors made warpers. The biome would have strange flora and terrain and would have no surface, the whole explorable area would be inside caves.

Hmm, maybe it could be tied into the NS2 lore as well, origin of the Fade's blink/vortex and Kharaa's redemption abilities
