<div class="IPBDescription">Was: Beta test/release party</div>Being the brilliant genius I am, I had this cool idea we could maybe do the day of the release, or for a beta test.
Since no one has played this mod (cept for the playtesters and the dev. team) I think it would be awesome that on the day of the release MonsE and Flarya hold a draft roster in IRC. They would choose people based on their internet personalitys, ideas from the forums, coolest avatars, etc. etc.
Anyway, I think any kind of IRC party the day of the release would be sweet, so that all the trash talkin forum junkies can mix it up with the 1337 h4x0rs.

She keeps to herself. She sees human interation being pointless and only getting in the way of piloting the Evangelions. She's been manipulated since she was created to think that. Her whole life she was tought to keep to herself and avoid other people thanks to Gendo and maybe Ritsuko.
I guess you could say she acts like she's shy. She has alot of the characteristics that shyness does. But if someone ever does talk with her, she will say exacly whats on her mind.
Basically, I see alot of myself in her, I feel withdrawn like her and I'm a pretty shy person when it comes to human to human interation. While I dont see human interaction as pointless, I do, like her, hide behind an emotionless "mask".
I can relate to her and her situation (not so much piloting the Evangelions, fighting the Angels and having the Humans race on my sholders, but close). I feel alot like she does, if only for different reasons. Therefore, she is my favorite Anime character to date and I feel very protective of her - even though I know I have no right to be and that she is a "cartoon".
Fear not though, I hold no ill feelings towards you. I was just making a joke .. er .. sort of ..

Well, anyway - Rei is from Neon Genises: Evangelion
Her full name is Rei Ayanami (or Ayanami Rei I guess)
There are 26 episodes and 2 movies. Well, death and rebitrh really isnt a movie per-say.
The movies are:

End of Eva
Episodes 25 and 26 are the end of the TV series as its happening in the characters minds. EOE is the end of the series as its happening in The Real World - well, at least thats what I gather from it. Some say EOE ruined NGE. I personaly dont have an opinion. I have EOE, buts its subtitled. Its hard for me to understand whats going on because the subtitling isnt that good. The dubbed version should be released around July I think.
NGE was never a lighthearted gundamstyle action anime, so I think the end was just right and not 'Gainaxed'. Of course, I also liked SE LAIN, so maybe I'm just a complete jerk.
I kinda agree, she has the personality of a trash can primarily due to the fact shes a clone. If I remember correctly there where more then one clones also when she died. :\

And just because she's a clone, she has to have the "personality of a trashcan"? Thats a little harsh, dont you think? Who's to say a clone cant have true feelings? Also, if she were actually born, I doubt there would be any change in her personality. Gendo wanted to control her, and if she were a clone or not, she would still act the same way.
