Once again Major Spoiler warning ahead!! So now that 3 quarters just left lets get down to the deep. This thread is all about sharing your story theories about SN. I have always wondered what people thought about the connections between NS2 and SN. So here's my theory linking the game. (MAJOR SPOILERS!!):
Okay so, when you leave the planet cured of the Carar you take another strand of the Carar with you that isn't deadly or anything if you immune to the Carar. It is a different strand of the same disease just like smallpox. So you leave the planet and spread this new strand that the Precursors didn't know about. So it spreads like wildfire and evolves like crazy, it is than designated the Kharr (sorry to all you NS2 fans). So that is where you pick off with the NS2 game! Just at the peak of infection.
