Mono File Reading Issues?

So I am pretty sure that this is my problem... My Subnautica will launch, and then black screen and close. The output says that they are unable to be read. I was told by Obraxis that changing to the C: disk would help, but it didn't... Now should I just wait for the new unity update, or can I do anything else about this?

Is it possible to have a corrupt copy of subnautica??? I bought it on steam and it ran for quite a while...

we've been trying to help you for a long time now. Im sad to see that nothing seemed to work for you
giving all the trouble you went thru to make this game work and despite all our best attempt to help you fix it, it seems theres no real solution to this for you which puzzles me greatly.

also it seems even the devs help didnt work. did you try to get a refund? i know steam has strict rules for refunds but since your game refuse to work correctly for months now maybe they will refund, dunno

I asked for a refund, didn't get one as I spent too much time "playing" it.

... Random thought. Did you ever try disabling Steam overlay? Sometimes that plays oddly with things, and it runs itself quietly. Doesn't usually screw stuff up, but when it does, it is ninja.

I was told reinstalling windows may help. What would I lose if I did reinstall it? (Using Windows 7)
