Bigger and more comfortable bases

First! Sorry for my English, I'm from Czech Republic so... I can not speak English very well :D:( Yeah...

I love this game, and especially building bases, so it would be great to make them more accessible, and more convenient for our use.

Here we will talk about expanding the bases so that they are more comfortable for all of us, such as walls (For example: If you fill destroy a wall, you will have bigger room), ceilings (If you fill destroy ceiling, and when is the room on the other room, it will create higher ceiling), plenum chambers (When you will place hatch, it will automatically make a room with other door to the base [hatch will stay like entrance into that room]), elevators (Did you saw tubus elevator in TheSims3IntoTheFuture?), or outside ladders(to climb on the roof of the base)

I will give you a completely free space for your thoughts
and if you want, you can talk about vehicles

Doable, but would in turn have much higher integrity costs per part. So you're looking at bases that either stay in the shallows or are claustrophobic anyway because they're all hull reinforcements and no windows.

However, I still think this is a good idea because it would immerse people more into the idea of higher pressure at deeper depths. That base they build in the safe shallows would be happy, friendly, full of windows, gardens, glass domes, etc. That little depot two kilometers down? Still a tiny, cramped metal tube, windowless and dark, creaking under the weight of the sea.

Yeah, I want more of this feeling. Spacious friendly base at -20m or whatever, and creepy pressurised tube at +1km! hate it, but love it at the same time, that claustrophobic feeling!

I dont know, i quite like my modular docking home consisting of a locker, a bench, a window, medical kit, a planted pot plant, and a fabricator. its cozy without being over compensating. (though ironically, having spent a week in a hunting stating [the tiny ones], im fine with essential but small habitats)

What about a moonpool sized room (maybe slightly longer) that can fit 2 multipurpose room only constructions? Would allow more compact power generation and aquariums. Change up the repeating circle design, and would properly fit more than one indoor plant bed.

Of course, it could be also interesting to plant the plants on land or in the water without pots
