[Bug] Can't Access ESC Game Menu [36618] - Mac OS

Just got the game, and I cannot get the ESC to bring up the menu at all. It just does nothing. I still haven't figured out how to save, and I am starting to think that must be done from the game menu. Has this issue ever been reported?
