Xbox One: Fragments not showing up where they are supposed to

This happened to me for the mobile vehicle bay, and for the propulsion cannon arm for the PRAWN.
I went to the wrecks the wiki indicated should have the fragments and I couldn't find them. There were other items and fragments I could scan but those fragments weren't in the wrecks they were supposed to be. Saving, closing completely (quit menu command from Xbox menu), and re-loading fixed the problem and the fragments loaded properly.
