When is genome editing coming

I thought that it would be in the PRAWN update but no! So when will the transfuser be added to SN. Anybody know?

    When the developers get working the way they want it to. I hope they take their time to get it right. Nothing is more annoying than a feature in a game that's so bugged it's unplayable (which was REALLY UNFORGIVABLE in the old NES games when there was no internet and no patches).

    Can someone explain what the use of the transfuser will be? Can we grow fins and turn into mermaids after injecting some fish DNA? :D

    You won't "Go morphing time", you will use the transfuser to collect DNA samples from fish to gain certain perks like a speed boost and extra air time. I'm really looking forward to it ;) .

    If that were possible I'd stay away from those... modifications. I'm sure there are benefits to being a VERY sexy Bishonen Merman, but I don't think they outweigh the possible drawbacks...

    I don't think that the genetic modifications will have de-buffs.

    Sounds really cool! Although I always dreamed to be able to turn into a mermaid you are probably right, that would not fit into the game. :p

    Being a sexy bishonen merman would be a drag. You'd have to stay in water all the time and not be able to walk. You'd have to deal with predators. And you'd be easily hypnotized by a worm on a hook...

    In all seriousness though I'm not sure about any debuffs either if using fish DNA, but I'm sure there would have to be a few...
