The Cyclops camera does work! (after a little button adjustment)

After seeing that the camera icon pulses when the reticule is near the relative center of the screen (while piloting the Cyclops), I decided to mess with the control settings to see if I could provoke a button prompt; Long story short if you:
- Set "Left Hand" and "Use" to be "ControllerLeftTrigger" -
- Then pilot the Cyclops, and put your targeting reticule to the vertical and horizontal center of the screen (which makes the camera pulse) -
- Then hit the "A" button, and the camera works. Hit "Left Trigger" to get out of camera mode (and left trigger again to get out of pilot mode - essentially remember Left Trigger is now your 'action' button).
It makes it so you can't use the horn, but if you're okay with sacrificing the horn for the camera, this works.
Amazing game btw - best I've played in quite a while.

@OrionGalaxy When you board your Cyclops and then Pilot it (physically controlling the sub, not just in it), there's a camera icon that appears near your lower left (not lower left of the HUD, but lower left of your full view when piloting the sub). And if you keep the cursor/reticule in the relative horizontal/vertical center, you'll see that icon flash (that's when you press 'A' if you've reconfigured your button mapping)
@SneakyShark Not sure what you're asking - if you're asking if the scanner room works: Yes, there's a post here on how/where to get that to work. But if you're asking if you can swap between cameras in the Cyclops and the scanner room: No, at least it hasn't worked for me. But that's a good idea.
Also the seamoth to scout around.
But yeah this is awesome
do the cameras have lights? lol
You did and they are.
