Placed Objects Appearing Far Away

The title for this thread sucks, I know, and I had little luck searching to see if this glitch had already been posted since I have trouble describing it.
In my game, placed structures, excluding seabase modules, are rendered from realllly far away. For instance when I return to my base, it'll be night time and I'll be several hundred meters away, but I can see all the storage lockers, the fabricator, basically all the stuff I built inside the base, I can see it crystal clear and through solid terrain.
I'm on my way back to my main base now so I'll screenshot it when I get there.

Yeah I've noticed that with the Cyclops, sometimes I wonder if it's an intended feature or not though. If it is working as intended, we should have the ability to switch it off if we so desire - since it kinda gets in the way of pretty screenshots and whatnot (Though I'd like to be able to toggle Beacons on/off as well)
Yeah it happens when I'm in the cyclops. If it's a really old glitch then I guess that's why I couldn't find stuff when I searched. My bad.
