I believe that's gonna be the future model for the Crash fish egg. There's also a model on Sketchfab? It's not finished yet, but here it is anyway.

I wonder how a crash would work if you kept one in an alien containment unit. Would it be enclosed within its own crash plant? Would it explode and flood your base if you upset it?

Good question. I figure that it'd be like any other fauna you stick in there in terms of attitude: It'd happily ignore your presence when you're in the tank, but will immediately turn hostile if you pick it up then release it outside.

I kinda wish fish you hatch would remain passive towards you when released back into the wild. ^^
