I thought the Oculus was just a Peeper who's been awake too long... I mean... Just look at it! Its eyes are red and it's tail is shredded. Clearly it's just a Peeper who's suffered from too much fatigue.

Now if I could only find the recipe for Hot Chili Peepers...
