@mimiguy2 I asked someone else the same thing when I saw his top of the ship base. The trick is to build 2 corridors next to each other, then you can put a hatch out the top to get to the roof and build higher, then go back in, get back on the roof, and so on. That was the "scaffold". Then I built the vertical connector tube next to them as I went up, so I didn't have to click through each level when coming and going. When it was all done and I had the tube all the way to the top, I got on the top and deconstructed my way down the scaffold to reclaim all the resources. Took me a couple hours to pull off, but that was in hardcore, where I actually had to care about resources and occasional food/water.

I built a tower like that once, but the large aquarium hadn't been added to the game yet. I built it so I could have my base stick out of the water from where the grassy plateau hit the edge of Grand Reef. Can't remember how many floors it was, but probably not 50. Covered maybe 100m.
My game was bugged, I was literally walking on the sea floor as if I wasn't underwater. So then I thought "this is a great opportunity to see just how deep the game actually is". So I walked across the map, going through the safe shallows, kelp forest, grassy plateaus, mushroom forest, koosh zone and finally mountains biome where I found the edge of the map. Then I took a leap of faith and fell down 2900 m till I was stuck in a hole and couldn't get out. Oh, and at around 800 m, there was literally no more light unless I looked up. So I landed on a platform and console commanded a flashlight. It was empty as fuck. So I spawned a reaper, but it pushed me into that hole.
The crazyest thing I've done is probably when I rammed a Stalker with my seamoth and it got stuck to my seamoth. I got out and I got flung through the map to the inactive lava zone. I didn't make it out.
Of course on Xbox One because my laptop can't run the game.
I built a base near the northern safe shallows lava geyser. With vertical connectors going down that narrow funnel to a foundation with a corridor+hatch (for easy access) and thermal reactors outside. I did not account for our bases not being heat-proof. So I had effectively built an oven and cooked myself in it the first time I went down that ladder.
Scanned a Reaper Leviathan without using a stasis field.
Tell me, is it difficult to avoid sinking with the weight of your giant balls dragging you down? Clearly they're made of plasteel, and the ultra pressure compensator has been installed.

Everytime i need to go somewhere i know theres Reaper Leviathans i always equip a Stillsuit prior to leaving so to make sure i can reclaim dhose bodily fluids that ''leaks'' from me whenever a Reaper gets too close to poor lil meh

It's not that hard. I've scanned most of the sea life and I've never even built a stasis gun.
I've heard that it's harder in Experimental, but at least in Stable it's not too hard if you practice your side dodges (stalkers are particularly adorable). Also it helps that many of the predators seem more interested in attacking the Seamoth than you half the time.
Someday i launched a rocket on Sunbeam eyes XD. That was preety bad experience for them. You fly over the galactic to rescue a survivor, then you see that him just started flying to space, then you got shot and he flew away XD.

Good lord the size difference makes it look like you dropped a paperclip on it
ha, nice!
Altho one might argue the safety of such a location .... you know, on top of an unstable/damaged interstellar engine
You have heard of the moonpool, right?
Cool kids don't need no dang Moon Pool.
Soo... yeah.
Swam over to the aurora, fixed the radiation leak and swam back without ever encountering a reaper
The face on your profile pic makes that so much funnier.
