    Usually on forums, threads that are always at the top because they contain important information are labelled as "stickied"... so they are always there even if nobody is active in the conversation.

    So like attaching a floater to something, these threads will always be on the surface where we can access them.
    It's just a nice Subnautica based spin on things.
