Heres an idea, you know in alien1 they find an alien ship? How about a whole map in a similar theme, could even be the same story as the movie. Would be really cool, would be nice with some unique textures, and it would be even scarier for the marines.
Here Harry S.truman feel free to add this one to my "long spewing list of very poor suggestions."

although this would be cool to carry out, i dont think they'd have a chance in hell trying to set up a base on a kharaa ship, even the floor could be hostile. additionally, the commander can see as a result of the network existing in human facilities. how would you explain how the comm could see?
thematic nit-picking aside, i think it'd be really neat to try
exactly this is what I mean
But, we can imagine a totally infested human ship that make it looks like an alien ship. At some point, there can be some "human relic" (as a body merged into an organic alien wall or stuff like that ... )

We can also imagine that, as stated above, they infest an alien vessel, like in alien1
Umm if so why do they always infest human ships and bases? Sounds very aggressive to me. If they are so defensive wouldnt it be smarter to just build a hive out in the wilderness or something? Maybe they like the warmth of the electricity, but its still aggresive.
(why did i even bother posting this?)
It was the humans fault all along!
Blah, I took all this information, molded it a bit, then plopped it here from the manual.

the difference is that mold doesnt try to destroy you when you come to remove it.

whoa whoa whoa... maybe YOUR mold doesnt fight you... but after leaving my midnight snack out and forgetting about it... onos are the LEAST of my problems.
This gives me an idea. Someone should craft a map located on the inside of a marine's body. Think of all the possible hive placement and marine insertion points. . . . . Oh geez. At second thought, don't.
Hm, an alien ship. Well, the Kharaa, as has been stated, are not equipped to control starships regardless of the fact they are intelligent enough to run any elevator or open any panel-controlled door they encounter. during battle. But I suppose a mapper could create a non-Kharaa "alien" ship of mysterious origin that the Kharaa have infested.
There's room for quite a bit of unique style and atmosphere within that idea.
hehe well yeah that was kinda the idea if you read my posts
