3 ideas for base aesthetic and convenience!

As I've watched videos and played the game I've come up with some ideas for the bettering of the bases. (these ideas go from easiest to hardest to implement)
1.Floor/Ceiling windows for rooms
You know when you have a tower with 2 rooms, the bottom room has a large aquarium and the top has nothing, then it leaves that glass cirlce?

Well I was thinking you could add the same glass floor without the aquarium bit and just have it as a window, add the glass floor to the bottom and look down to lower floors
2. Stairs/Ladders you can rotate
When I have 2 corridors on top of each other and I connect a ladder between the 2 the likely-hood of it not blocking the corridor and looking ugly in general is about 1/4. But if we had the option to rotate the ladders it would be 100%. Now the idea for stairs comes in for appeal and smoothness, there is no animation between switching floors with a ladder, it just teleports you which can be disorientating.
But if we had stairs you could ascend/ descend floors at your leisure. I imagine spiral staircases up towers and apartment like towers connecting rooms and corridors. Its hard to explain some other stairway designs I have. But Im sure you'll figure something out

3. Elevators
This is obviously the hardest to design and create, but also the coolest.
It would be a glass vertical tube with an elevator and aquarium in it moving up and down either connecting rooms or it would be inside large towers, sorta like if you decided to swim up a tower filled with aquariums, but with an elevator in the middle of the aquarium. Eh...Just look at this image

Like that but small enough to fit inside a tower.
