Hi,
There should be a way to dispose the trash we don't want, and I suggest an incinerator. it could work as the bioreactor, we would put there the trash and we would get some power in return.

When I was using my Seamoth and got hungry, I noticed that it was impossible to access the PDA, and i guess the seamoth is not that small that we cant get food inside it.

yeah .... as we come closer and closer to the fearful v1.0 i.e official release of the game, some stuff is bound to get dropped to meet some kind of deadline. As much as we all wish for this to be implemented, me included, im affraid some features will not make the cut. Its like that concept of Rabbit rays stealing stuff from your hands.
Its possible that it'll make it in eventually but you know ... i wouldnt hold my breath too much on this one as they got so much important stuff left to implement that cannot be cut
