I simple glowing marker that can be deployed like a beacon but does not give off a signal. Can be used to mark wrecks and caves that were already cleared, to create a path through a winding cave or even draw roads between Seabases.
Could be made out of a titanium for the shell and creepvine seeds for fluorescence. Could use a reskin of the beacon model, smooth outer layer and glowing top.
Maybe even allow naming them, so you can leave a simple one word note behind on it if it's not too taxing on the database.
