Multiplayer Ideas

I know that the fact that there eventually may be a multiplayer has already been discussed on this forum, and I agree with that. I just have a few ideas for the incorporation of multiplayer.
1. Small servers
I think that Subnautica would be a lot better with "small" servers. By this, I mean 4 or 5 players to preserve the survival aspect and not dilute the natural supplies that much.
2. Blueprint sharing
All blueprints that are unlocked on the server would be unlocked for everyone. That way, the way fragments spawn would only have to be changed a little of at all.
3. Multi-passenger submersibles
This could either be a whole new submarine or a upgrade for the Seamoth making it have room for two passengers. This would allow for resource missions in more dangerous waters with one person collecting materials and the other player piloting the sub ready to swoop in at a moment's notice and rescue their buddy.
4. A new gamemode
Another cool idea would be to add a new gamemode. It would be like hardcore mode and be two-player. If either player died, the world would be deleted, this would put an emphasis on teamwork and would give a role-playing aspect to the game. One person could go out and forage for raw materials while the other could gather food and water for the both of them.
As a side note, I do not want multiplayer to completely replace the whole "stranded alone" theme. It should be added simply as an option for those who want share the experience with a friend.

the second someone dies its game over the more players there is in the game the harder it gets to avoid a game over.
''Dives down to a cave in the dark''
''Takes Flashlight out''
''Realizes that is surrounded by Drooping Stingers''
''Picked up Reclaimed Water''
only one thing... more players means less chances of Game Over
I totally agree with you, however, it would be easier for both players to survive only if they have good teamwork. In the gamemode I am suggesting, it would be very similar to hardcore mode and with two players going out by themselves it would, hypothetically, "double" the odds of a game over. This would create a very much "role-based" scenario where the Aurora survivors only succeed (metaphorically as there is no end game accomplishment currently) if they both survive.
Thanks for your input.
