Game Stops Working only a few seconds into the intro (Sounds continues to run)

Ever since I got this game I've been trying to get it to work but it simply doesnt. Getting into the menu screen everything works smoothly, loading goes as well but then the intro starts with me sliding down the ladder. Around the moment he sits down the game will freeze and stop working however the sound will continue to roll!
I've tried many things to attempt and fix this but to no avail.
-I tried to run it with Vsync on
-Tried every graphic option (including experimental build)
-Tried every resolution option
-Hard Reinstall
-Vertified the cache
-Overclocked my CPU to see it would change something
-Installed the latest drivers for everything on my PC from audio to video
I meet the minimum requirements for the game, even checked on several ''can i run it'' sites to ensure I do. I have the following specs:
VIDEO CARD

Free Disk Space
Minimum: 6 GB

Running a proces tracker next to the game revealed that my CPU usage never hits 100% which would result in a crash it remains between 60 - 80%. Furthermore there is no overheating (not even on the overclock).
I have no idea how to make the game work, does anyone have an idea? I'd gladly welcome any suggestions!
