Idea for temporary crash fix on XOne

I had an idea for a potential temporary bug fix for the crashing issue. Autosave would make things a bit problematic for players who struggle, but maybe a "quick save" system? Its a temporary save that can be loaded after a crash (only that once) or if you start the game over it will be replaced with the new games' quick save. Just an idea...i have no idea if its difficult or time-consuming.
