...but could we please have separate forums for things like fanfiction/fanart and YouTube spam... err, I mean channel advertising? Threads like those are cluttering the general page and drown out the more important posts.
I honestly don't get why the OPs of those threads feel the need to spam multiple posts. There's AO3 and fanfiction.net for stories, also deviantart for fanart, they offer a much more reader-friendly layout and access, plus an extensive comment and review system. Post your fanworks there and just give us a link here. Same with YouTube let's plays. Why chain-post in your own thread every time you add a new part to your work? You advertised once, it's enough. If people want to, they will follow you there, they already know where to find you.
