Are there usable maps for the picture frame on xbox1

I've seen several guides for maps on the pc, but can't find one for xbox. Is there one yet. Personally, I think ( considering the fact that we've crashed landed on an uncharted planet) it'd ba awesome if we had to use the scanner room to slowly map out the world. Then as you map it out you can update the picture frame. That is of course when we get the scanner room.
