Can't run in Standard mode after running in VR??

When the most recent update was released (The new Solar panels, recharge stations, etc), I began using my Oculus Rift CV1 for gameplay (which BTW IS ABSOLUTELY EFFING AWESOME!!!). But now if I try to run the game without the Oculus, it still launches in VR mode.

Obviously I have the Subnautica running through Steam. I've removed the -oculus from the startup options, and I even chose to launch it in the normal mode, not the VR mode when launching through Steam. Now whatever I do, I can't seem to get it to run without VR.

any suggestions?

Try stopping ovrservice before you run it.
