Game Crashing on Launch Since Update

Since the update yesterday I've been unable to load the game at all. When I try to open it, it black screens and crashes almost instantly. No crash error or anything, just says its not responding. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game twice. I've updated all of my drivers and verified integrity of the files on steam. I've double checked my system requirements as well, and it worked fine before the update yesterday. Any other suggestions or ideas?

i'm also having these problems. i noticed that i have no crash powder again too.
