Hi guys, I bought this game one weeks ago and I really like it. However I get a fps droping problem after the game starts.
my hardware list here:
Computer: MSI MS-7978
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K (Skylake-S, R0)
3500 MHz (35.00x100.0) @ 798 MHz (8.00x99.8)
Motherboard: MSI H170A GAMING PRO (MS-7978)
Chipset: Intel H170 (Skylake PCH-H)
Memory: 32768 MBytes @ 1064 MHz, 14-14-14-35
- 8192 MB PC17000 DDR4 SDRAM - Kingston KHX2133C14D4/8G
- 8192 MB PC17000 DDR4 SDRAM - Kingston KHX2133C14D4/8G
- 8192 MB PC17000 DDR4 SDRAM - Kingston KHX2133C14D4/8G
- 8192 MB PC17000 DDR4 SDRAM - Kingston KHX2133C14D4/8G
Graphics: EVGA e-GeForce GTX 980
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980, 4096 MB GDDR5 SDRAM
Drive: ST31000528AS, 976.8 GB, Serial ATA 3Gb/s
Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST j, DVD+R DL
Sound: Intel Skylake PCH-H - High Definition Audio Controller
Sound: NVIDIA GM204 - High Definition Audio Controller
Network: Intel Ethernet Connection I219-V
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Build 10586
I think I have enough RAM and VRAM plus other stuff to play this amazing game, but my fps drop from 100 to 15 with the game going on. What I find out is that the more buildings I built, the lower fps is. No matter how far way these bases are, no matter how I change the graphic setting ( from lowerst to highest, I also use F3 to change detailed the settings, but it does not really help), the fps is 15-25. I am pretty sure my computer is not lagging, I have firefox and IE plus curse turned on in the same time, and they worked smoothly. I also tried to turn off all back ground programs and the fps did not really change.
I tried to deconstruct one base, and the fps raises up to 20-25. I realy don't want to destory my own bases, I gather titanium from sea beds and built my bases up slowly, they got lot of my effort and I want to keep them.
Please, if you have any clue what is going on here, let me know. Any help is apperciated.
