Game closing and freezing

Thanks to advice I got on an earlier post I'm not losing loads of stuff however the more I build the more frequent the game freezes or the game crashes and closes all together. Is this because of more activity and building??
Still enjoying the game despite these issues but fixing it would be preferable!!!
