Day and night cycle

I want to know if there is a way to turn night in day, if not why is it not possible to sleep to change the day cycle?

I think it will change the experience too much. They made the cycles short so you have daylight within minutes. Altough i thought of the idea too, i personally like it that i can't sleep for daylight. the game shines at night
